What is eLandjamaica?
eLandjamaica is an internet based service offered by the National Land Agency that allows anyone, anywhere in the world to search for and have access to land related information in Jamaica. This information includes copies of Land Titles, Deposited Plans, Strata Plans, Enclosure Plans, Caveat Cards,Registered Instruments, Property Sales Data(currently unavailable), and Mapping Information(currently unavailable).

How do I get access to eLandjamaica?
All you need to access eLandjamaica is a computer with internet connection and a valid email address.

Why do I need an email address?
You will need a valid e-mail address because the documents you search for will be sent to your e-mail account via a link. This allows you to have electronic access to the document for seven(7) days after you have done your search.

How do I pay for searches I want to conduct using eLandjamaica?
  • Using your credit card to pay for each search online.
  • Setting up an account online and paying for searches with funds that are credited to the account.
  • Visiting any one of our offices, and making payment to create an account via cash, manager’s-cheque, debit or credit card.

How do I create an account online?
Creating an account online is easy... All you have to do is click on the “Sign up Tab” located at the top of the screen and follow the instructions carefully.

How do I add funds to my accounts?
Adding funds to your account is easy… Have your credit card ready. Simply go to “my account” located at the top of the screen and follow the instructions carefully.

If I want to search for several documents, do I have to pay for each document individually?
No, eLandjamaica has added a “Shopping Basket Feature” to ensure that this does not have to be done. You can search for several documents and add to your Shopping Basket. You can view your basket periodically to see the documents you have selected; you will only be asked to make a payment when you have selected the Check-out Tab.

NB. Note also that you can choose to delete items from your Shopping Cart before you have made payment if you choose not to purchase the document.

What is the process of getting a document that is not on eLandjamaica?
If a document is not available on eLandjamaica at the time of your search, you may call in, fax or email the information to Customer Service. The document will be uploaded to the site within 24 hours of the request, thereafter you will be advised by a Customer Service Representative to redo the search.

How do I get a document if it is not available on eLandjamaica and money was deducted from my account?
We are currently working to ensure 100% satisfaction; however, we do recognize that from time to time you may experience difficulties in accessing documents. If this happens, click on the Customer Service Tab; enter the information about the document you were searching for and click send. This email will automatically go to the Customer Care Centre where your request will be processed within 24 hours (1 working day).

What do I do if I keep getting authentication failed when I am logging on as an account holder?
Check if the caps lock is on to make sure you are using the correct word case; the login is case sensitive.

Clear the cookies on your computer. Cookies are the lists of pages you view on the internet, that are stored in a special folder for quick viewing. If this folder is full then you will not be able to view the eLandjamaica page. To clear cookies, go to Tools > Internet Options > then click on delete cookies and clear history.

Lower your security settings (firewall) this could be blocking the eLandjamaica page.
